Foundation Holds 9th Annual
Tom Manatt Memorial
Sporting Clays Tournament
May 13, 2011
A Little Rain Couldn't Dampen Their Spirits....
For the third year in a row the Tom Manatt Memorial Sporting Clays Tournament had 100 shooters. Although rain, wind, and cold greeted the shooters it couldn’t dampen the spirits and camaraderie of the participants. Each year since 2003 the tournament is held in memory of Tom Manatt. Tom was an avid outdoorsman and devoted participant in the AGC of Iowa Foundation Sporting Clays Tournament.
The weather tested each of the five-person teams skills on the difficult Steelclay Shooting Sports course in Eddyville. The tournament was a winner for the Foundation too with the net precedes helping support scholarship programs, as well as coordinating workforce development and educational initiatives in partnership with AGC of Iowa. Many, many thanks go to the sponsors and shooters who by their participation came out in support of the Foundation. Our deepest gratitude goes to:
