President’s Message

Welcome to the 90th Annual AGC of Iowa Meeting and Convention.  You have made the right decision to attend this convention and I want to personally thank you for your involvement.
The theme for the 90th convention is “Winning in the Construction Jungle”.  You know it’s a jungle out there and, hopefully, this convention and the opportunities presented will help you win.  Our industry faces many challenges from funding shortfalls to new environmental regulations.  Your input and expertise is needed to help everyone through the construction jungle.

The AGC Iowa PAC Auction will once again be a well-attended event.  The PAC Auction theme is “Survivor Iowa”.  What an appropriate theme since our industry needs legislative help to survive now and in the future.  Your involvement with your legislators will be critical for the success of our industry in 2012.  Please plan on attending the event for everyone’s benefit.

My husband Kelly and I, along with incoming President Steve Streb, would like to welcome you to the 90th gathering of our industry.  You have chosen to attend the marquee event that AGC Iowa works all year to put together.  Have a great time!
