Technical And Regulatory Services
Governmental rules and regulations are becoming far more complex. AGC/I gives members the opportunity to be heard and assists with problems that affect the construction industry. This is accomplished by:

Liaison with Iowa Department of Transportation – AGC/I staff works closely with the Iowa DOT. Two-way communication between AGC/I and IDOT provides valuable input and feedback on specifications and issues that effect member businesses.

Liaison with State and Federal Regulatory Agencies – AGC staff in Des Moines and Washington, DC maintain close relationships with officials at state and federal regulatory agencies and ensure that the member’s voice is heard when new regulations are considered.
